AILET 2021 Notification, Exam Dates, Application, Syllabus, Preparation

AILET 2021 – National Law University (NLUD), Delhi which is the conducting body of AILET 2021 will conduct exam in the first week of May, 2021 in offline mode. NLU Delhi conducts entrance exam every year for BA LLB and LLM programme. There are 160 seats available for both the programmes, 80 seats each including foreign nationals. AILET 2021 registration starts in the first week of January, 2021 in online mode only. What is AILET 2021?

AILET 2021 (All India Law Entrance Test) is a National Level Common Law Entrance Exam, which is conducted to provide admission for UG and PG law courses in NLU Delhi. The University offers admission into 80 seats for BA LLB course, 80 seats for LLM course and 8 seats for PhD level law course.

AILET 2021 Eligibility

Aspirants are advised to read AILET 2021 eligibility criteria carefully before start filling AILET Application Form, The AILET eligibility is divided into two parts Undergraduate and Postgraduate AILET 2021 eligibility.

Note – There is no upper age limit for All India Law Entrance Test (AILET)

Eligibility Criteria – BA LLB

  • Candidate should have passed 10+2 examination with minimum 50% marks.
  • Candidates who are appearing in 10+2 examination are also eligible to apply for AILET 2021 but they need to show evidence of their minimum qualified examination at the time of admission.

Eligibility Criteria – LLM

  • Candidate should have passed LL.B. or an equal degree from a recognised University with minimum 55% marks in aggregate and 50% if you are from SC/ST/PwD category.

For foreign national:

  • Academic record of LL.B. or equivalent degree recognized by the UGC/ Association of Indian Universities with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.
  • Assessment of necessary communication skills in written and spoken English and performance at the interview in terms of aptitude and capacity.

Note: Foreign Nationals category candidates need not to appear AILET. There admission will be done on the basis of direct admission process. 

AILET 2021 Application Form

AILET 2021 registration will start from the first week of January in online mode. AILET 2021 Application Form will be released for both the UG and PG programmes at official website Candidates first need to register themselves through email id and mobile number. In the next step, The candidate has to login into the account using registered mobile number/ application number and password to fill the details and upload the required documents in the AILET 2021 Application Form. The last step will be fee payment. The application fee for every category is different which is given below:

  • Rs. 3050/- General, OBC, Kashmiri migrants
  • Rs. 1050/- SC/ST/PwD
  • Free – BPL Candidates

AILET 2021 Exam Pattern

AILET 2021 Admit Card

AILET 2021 Admit Card will be released in the 4th week of April 2021 in online mode. AILET exam admit card can be downloaded by entering registration number and password. Candidate needs to check the mentioned information or details in hall ticket before downloading it, If any get any incorrect details immediately contact to the authority. Candidate needs to bring the one valid ID proof (Adhar Card, Pan Card, Driving Licence, Voter ID Card) along with admit card on D-day.

AILET 2021 Answer Key

After the successful conduction of the examination, the answer key of AILET 2021 will be available on the official website. A appeared candidate can calculate the marks by giving +1 marks for the correct answer and -0.25 marks for an incorrect answer. If a candidate found some doubt regarding their answer sheet, they can file the objection through available link on the official website.

AILET 2021 Result

NLU Delhi will release the results of AILET 2021 in the last week of May, 2021 in online mode. AILET 2021 result will be declared in the form of pdf file, appeared candidates can check their result by searching their roll number. AILET result contains candidate’s statistics, candidate name, roll number, father’s name, marks and gender.  To qualify the AILET 2021, candidate needs to obtain minimum exam qualifying marks.

AILET 2021 Counselling

NLU, Delhi will start AILET 2021 counselling and seat allotment process from 1st week of June 2021 in online mode. Only qualified candidates can participate in the AILET Counselling process. Selected candidate will receive the call letters, candidates need to visit the venue mentioned and remit counselling fees by the last date mentioned after this candidates will be notified about the further admission procedure to be followed.
